Welcome

Where generous hospitality meets elegance and luxurious style.

Remember the Australia of the great grazier era, when fresh morning mists drifted into long afternoons, cicadas chirped in the shimmering haze of eucalypts, blazing sunsets melted into lantern lit romance and gracious hospitality was an effortless whisper - welcome to Laurelville.

Located in York, a beautiful and historic town just over an hour East of Perth and built in 1896, Laurelville has a great architectural and country history.

Once home of the Marwick family for 6 generations, it is a stately turn-of-the-century Edwardian two storey homestead with wide bullnosed verandahs, distinctive gables and elegant turrets.  Nestled in 3 acres of Hans Heysen landscape on the side of Mt Brown and overlooking York and the Avon Valley, it enjoys sweeping views from the rear of the property, and glorious sunsets from the front balconies.

Laurelville has been completely refurbished by designer Kyla Colvin to create a beautiful, elegant and uniquely Australian country house destination.

The supremely comfortable beds are fitted with fine Flaxfield New Zealand linen, luxury quilts and sumptuous Bemboka blankets made with angora and Australian merino wool.

Relax in superior luxury and experience the finest of Western Australian hospitality.

We look forward to spoiling you.
